Orientations will be scheduled based on greatest needs first, so we ask that you be patient during the process.
You must attend an orientation prior to volunteering. Orientations last approximately one hour. If you are able to assist in any or all of these areas, please fill out and submit our Volunteer Profile form to apply.Īfter you have submitted your Volunteer Profile form, we will notify you of the next orientation date. Our greatest volunteer needs at this time are in the areas of daily habitat maintenance, grounds maintenance, and data entry. We house mainly cats and kittens, several exotic/pocket pets, and typically fewer than 10 dogs at a time, most of which are small breed. We rely heavily upon volunteers, and we are very grateful for the time and effort they contribute to our operations. Our facility is run on donations, bequests, and grants, and through fundraising efforts. We do not receive any city, county, state, federal, or Humane Society of the United States funding.
